Add vinegar to shopping list 3 tablespoons vinegar

Add salad oil to shopping list 3 tablespoons salad oil

Add sugar to shopping list 2 tablespoons sugar

Add dry mustard to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard

Add caraway seeds to shopping list 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds

Add salt to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon salt

Add pepper to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Add green cabbage, finely shredded to shopping list 3 cups green cabbage, finely shredded

Add carrot, finely shredded to shopping list 1 cup carrot, finely shredded

Add green onions, cut into thin lengthwise slices to shopping list 1/4 cup green onions, cut into thin lengthwise slices

Directions:

Combine vinegar, oil, sugar, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper in a screw-top jar. Cover and shake well.

In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrot, and green onion. Pour vinegar mixture over cabbage mixture; toss gently to coat.

Cover and chill before serving, if desired.
